I'm considering buying rs125 98 as my first bike.... That day when i went bike hunting around pudu .. I went to this shop near the chicken rice shop .... There's this guy pushing his aprillia rs125 out of the shop... He was planning to sell the bike to the shop for 3.5k but the bike condition is kind of worn out so the shop quoted him 2.5k .. I went over and talk to him asking the price of the bike and how's the bike.. He told me he just overhaul the bike and the condition of the bike is ok.. but the bike is worn out... He told me he's going to sell it to me 3k with helmet , boots , alpinestar jacket... His place is new pandan mewah.. Should i consider this bike and restore it?... It's my first sportsbike.. Any advices?

Owning an aprilia is 1 thing but its bout maintaining the bike

Thanks for all your advices .. He also told me that i'll be the 4th owner... the previous owner that sold it to him didnt take good care of the bike.. He just bought the bike over from him 3 months ago and overhaul the bike .. The problem is i'm not financially stable to get a bike over 5k without paying installment... Should u guys recommend me a rs125 as a first bike? I cant afford new rs125.. The price for it is crazy... Guys please advise me.. I'm looking forward to get a rs as a new bike

if u still want to get the bike, better ask a friend who is familiar with rs to check the condition of the bike. maybe can do some calculation first on wear n tear part that need to be change after u get it..

The problem is i dont have friends riding bike.. semua main kereta.. any members willing to help? pandan mewah cheras area? TT on me later?

try ask mr.presiden aka az @ mr.selipar aka wan.both otai/owning rs for a long period, have a lot of xperience on rs. think they might help on this.

Please do inspect the bike properly & if possible, bring along someone who would be able to check on the current bike condition or ask the seller to go to Motorworks services in Batu caves to be inspected by AZ a.k.a mr.president. Please make prior arrangement with him.

Owning the bike is 1 thing, but if wrongly picked, it will make you taking maggie mee + plain water as your daily diet if you're on a tight budget.

Case scenario Example:
you bought the bike for rm3k & worst case scenario you need a full engine rebuild from top to bottom end, it will cause you a near rm2k for the main parts. Add another Rm800 if you need to replace the cylinder with a 2nd hand cylinder(block motor klu bahasa pasarnye..) you're still getting a good deal out of it & i would recommend it highly.

But if ....just if you pay RM3k & need to rebuild almost everything back after that from scratch, i will certainly & highly not recommending you buying the bike. you'll be better off buying a well known bike with fellow Aprilians, even if the priced is at RM7K & above. There's alway's a reason on why this bike is cheaper & this bike is expensive & another bike is really expensive.

Just as mr.president point out to you:
Good Thing's are not alway's Cheap,
And cheap thing's are not alway's GOOD.
Find the right RS125 & i can guaranteed, you will not be disappointed with the Motogp Experienced that it will bring into your biking life.
Keep that in mind before you're getting an EXOTIC ITALIAN sportbike.
